Jason Gavin received a BA in History and Philosophy from the University of Southern Mississippi, an MA in Religious Studies from Prescott College, an MA in Philosophy from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and an MLS from Indiana University.   Before moving to Tennessee, he’s lived everywhere from Japan to California; New Orleans to the Arizona desert.  He currently teaches philosophy, ethics, and world religions, while writing, seeking tribe, and building a regenerative agriculture homestead with his wife and daughter on a forested five-acre corner of Tennessee.

His interests lie at the intersection of Ecophilosophy, Environmental activism, Nordic Animism, and Rewilding.
